DEVILMENT - Guitarist Daniel Finch Quits With The Band

Guitarist and Founder member of Devilment Daniel J. Finch has quit the band, following their European tour supporting Lacuna Coil and Motionless In White. Daniel Finch said: “It was time for me to move on and do something new.” Daniel has announced he will be working on three new projects. He's back as guitarist in his old band Twisted Autumn Darkness. He was last with the band ten years ago when they released there critical acclaimed debut album, Destroy The Bastard & Trinity. The band with a half based in the UK and another in Norway are currently writing a follow up to their debut. There are also plans for some live shows in 2015. Another project is The Silence Between, Daniel's heavy project and features himself on guitar, as well as Synaptik members John Knight on Vocals and Kev Jackson on Bass. The trio last worked together as the Thinking Principle. The new project has been described as a mix of Fear Factory, Meshuggah, Mnemic, Deftones and Korn with Singing. A demo is expected sometime around the summer. The third as yet unnamed project see Daniel once again working with Drummer Simon Dawson (Steve Harris British Lion, ex-Dearly Beheaded). As well as old time friend on bass Steve Woodcock (ex-Cynic touring bass). The trio are currently writing songs, and a demo is expected sometime in 2015. The band are also currently auditioning for a vocalist. Meanwhile Devilment, who released their debut album, The Great And Secret Show, in October through Nuclear Blast Records (read a review over HERE), are on a quest to find a new guitarist (check more about this over at their Facebook page).
